Del Posto and Birthday Weekend

Went to Del Posto... one of Matt's favorite restaurants this weekend. The service is always great here and the food is amazing and definitely plentiful.

My Dinner:

Rose Champagne (for a birthday toast)

Assorted Bread w/ Rosemary Lardo or Butter
Minestrone Broth with olive oil, a Pecorino chip dusted with a paprika-ish spice, and a Ham and Vegetable Terrine coated with rushed pistachios (complimentary starters from the chef)

Abalone Carpaccio, White Asparagus & Garlic Scapes

first course/primi
Rabbit Panzotti with Pencil Asparagus & Black Truffle Butter

Potato Gnocchi with Red Wattle Ragu, Shaved Fennel & Burnt Pollen

second (main) course/secondi
Veal Chop alla Milanese, Asparagus & Truffled Tongue Salad (the tongue salad sounds gross but it was really, really tasty)

Sorbetti del Giorno (Sorbet of the day)
flavors: lemon, peach, plum, and coconut

unsure, but you can ask a sommelier for help to pair a good wine with your meal! They are really helpful.

Would I go back: absolutely!
